The Ziggurat of Ur, Iraq
May 31, 2010
In the biblical story of 'Father' Abraham, also known as the father of our faith, the town or Ur is said to be his family home before the LORD asked him, "leave your father and travel to a land of milk and honey. I will make it known to you and your decendants after I have multiplied them like the stars in the heavens."
See; Genesis chapters 12~50
Note: The story of Abraham is the longest and most detailed family history record in the bible.
