The attached response from the Consul General of France has been provided regarding the scheduling of a ceremony at which you will finally be awarded the French Legion of Honor.
Unfortunately, the Consul General is unable to schedule the ceremony on September 5, 2011, your 100th birthday. Because it my desire and an honor to attend the ceremony, I am currently working with the Miami Consulate and have proposed the following: September 7, 2011 at 11a.m.
Please be assured that once confirmation has been received from the Consulate, I will contact you immediately with all pertinent information to included the date and place.
