Top ten suggestions for safe travel in Europe.

1. Never go anywhere alone.
2. Don't wear t-ships displaying the American flag or any statement of said fact.
3. Many countries in Europe speak English so don't let language become a barrier.
4. Only go to places with crowds and that are frequented regularly.
5. Don't be rude and talk about someone's religion or nationality.
6. Become a diplomat for American when abroad and hold yourself to a higher standard as a tourist.
7. Planning to live and work in Europe? 'When in Rome, do as the Romans'.
8. Europeans are pleased to listen to our travel tales but make yourself a quick listener too.
9. If invited to someone's house visit with a customary gift. Just don't take red roses. It's considered rude not to accept an invitation or a gift.
10. Enjoy yourself, it might be your last visit to Europe.
